My Position

I am a professor at Department of Space Science Information Analysis in JAXA/ISAS, and the group leader of the Science Data Archive Group at Center for Science-satellite Operation and Data Archive (C-SODA). My primary responsibility at C-SODA is to develop and maintain the scientific satellite data archives of JAXA/ISAS.

Research

I am an X-ray astonomer, and mostly interested in X-ray emission from accreting compact objects (black holes, neutron stars and white dwarfs). Also, I study origin of the X-ray emission from the Galactic Plane (Milky way).

Suzaku
I am a member of the Suzaku Science Working Group (SWG), and I am responsible for building Suzaku archives on JAXA's data archive "DARTS".
Also, before joining ISAS in August 2005, I was a member of the Suzaku Guest Observer Facility at NASA/GSFC.

INTEGRAL I was working at INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC) in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2001 August to 2004 December. I participated in the development of INTEGRAL data analysis and archive systems.
